FLOWER FARM RULES
Please note that when coming to the farm you assume any and all risks. In order to keep you safe and our flowers looking great, there are a few rules we kindly ask all of our guests to follow. This includes:
-
Please wear weather appropriate clothing, sun protection, and farm appropriate footwear, such as closed-toed shoes.
-
Be aware that at times the ground may be wet, slippery, and uneven. Use caution as you are navigating the property.
-
While you are picking flowers, please stay on the designated paths.
-
The pruning snips are sharp. Please handle with care and ensure the safety lock is on when not in use.
-
Children ages 12 and under must be kept in your care. For safety reasons, they cannot handle the pruning snips but they are welcome to assist with floral arranging.
-
The garden is home to variety of insects, including stinging bees and wasps. Exercise caution and care during your visit and note that we do not keep epinephrine on site.
-
Do your best to use what you pick and take only what you need. This keeps our gardens healthy and in good shape for those who come after you.
-
We are a working farm. That means vehicles and machinery are often operating on site. Please stay alert and keep your kids and pets close at hand.
-
Please refrain from climbing on equipment or farm structures.
-
We ask that visitors please limit their visits to our posted business hours unless otherwise arranged.
-
You are most welcome to enjoy the gardens and retail shop, but please do not enter the surrounding buildings.
-
We are a non-smoking environment.
